My problem is I don't know what to plug the antenna into there is no slot at the end of the card. Can someone please answer this question it would really help. thanks

NO yagi antenna.

For what you describe, a cantenna may do.

You'll also want to establish a line of sight to the other WAP and move it closer to your house. Hint: If it's in their house, move it to the wall or window that you can see from your house.

Re: wireless card and yagi antenna NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

A wireless card that can take an antenna will have a little socket somewhere on it. Many wireless cards actually don't have anyplace where you can plug in an antenna, though. I can't find information specific to the netopia card, but I would start by contacting netopia to see if they think you should be able to connect an antenna to it. Then google "seattle wireless shootout" to find more than you ever wanted to know about finding (or building) an antenna. is cheap ...
