Wireless Broadband Availability

by kwh2185 / November 20, 2004 7:37 AM PST

I live on a rural road with no cable or DSL availability. Satellite is too expensive for what little it provides on the download side. I understand I can get wireless broadband through cell towers, and I have a centrino notebook, but I can't find info on vendors. Can anyone refer me to a site or provide info on how I can go about this? Many thanks.

I moved to the rural area 4 years ago and lost my cable service, and did not want Direcway, but found this lightningnet service. Had it installed several days ago, it is fantastic. You need "line of sight" to the antenna.
