I have a wireless internet connection at home for my desktops and notebook. Works fine. But I tried recently at one the fast food places that has wireless and could not get connected with my notebook. How can I tell what is wrong and how to correct it?

I use a Dell Demension running XP and my notebook is Dell Inspiron 2650 also running XP
