Wirefly

by CrisisVT / March 3, 2006 1:38 AM PST

Please add me to the list of people burned by Wirefly. In short: I ordered a phone and T-Mobile service at a rate that was no longer available through T-Mobile. Wirefly sent me an email saying they made an agreement with T-Mobile so that they could honor their advertised price but in the end the customer service people from Wirefly said that email should not have been sent out.

I ended up losing my ported number and recieved terrible service from Wirefly.

Do not use them...search this forum and you will see other issues.

wirefly scam
Buyer beware. I purchased a pair of Motorolla E815 cell phones in November of 2006 for Wirefly, printed the rebates from their website, made muliple copies, waited the appropriate 120-150 days, sent the cell phone bill payment receipts as they requested, jumped through ALL the hoops in the correct time limit to which they denied me my refunds by saying the official Verizon payment receipt that I printed from the Verizon website were not the correct ones? It was recommended that I resend with the appropriate forms but did not clearify what made mine incorrect so I could remedy the situation. Unfortunatly, this is a case of a deal "too good to be true". After buying the phones in November from Wirefly, I did more reserch on the web to find my situation was not unique. Shame on me for not going to a Verizon retailer from the beginning. Never again will I "Donate" my money to this bunch of thieving corporatists. One can hope they will be sued into oblivion.
