Wired access to internet through WiFi routet

I am using belkin N300 wireless and modem router.I have plugged in the ADSL cable in ADSL slot provided and able to access internet through WiFi,but when I am trying to access Internet on old desktop through wired connection by plugging in lan cable in one of four Lan ports provided in WiFi router , I am unable to do so. It's says line busy.What am I doing wrong .Please help.
