WinTV Go.....PLEASE HELP!

by MattZ28 / February 23, 2004 10:00 AM PST

I got my WinTv Go TV card today, and it works great. How do I hook up a VCR to it so that I can convert VHS videos to MPG?

The composite video goes in that RCA jack and the audio into the sound card LINE INPUT. I press that GREEN BAR inbetween the up and down channel to select the other input and when it works, I press play on the VCR and then the WinTV record button

Ok, so video goes into the yellow input on the TV card, and sound goes into where my speakers plug in on the sound card? I just need RCA cables to go from the VCR to computer?

Thanks Bob! You've been a big help to me.

My sound from the VCR went to the LINE-IN of the sound card. The mic input is for lower amplitude signals.

Ok, I tried hooking up my playstation. I put the yellow plug into the yellow one on the TV card, and the white (audio) one won't fit into anything on the sound card. It's too small....what should I do?

I used a second set of speakers since I found it limiting to go to the windows screen to adjust some audio setting, but Radio Shack is where I found an adapter to go from the PS2 audio to the Line-in of the PC card.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
