It increase system performance by allowing the user to choose which application to be processed 1st by the CPU. Also it lists all unknown application ie. spyware slipping through firewall and anti-spyware program.

I've tried these over the years and learned that while they are well marketed, they don't deliver.

wintasks is a great program, but it's a bite pricey. better ssearch for a discount before buying it. i got mine for just $45 from http://www.lightsparkle.com/product_page-8.htm
similar offers should are available at froogle, ebay, pricegrabber, etc.
