I don't know about WinPatrol, but I can tell that the bookmarks as they were the last 5 days you used Firefox are stored in files in your Firefox-profile. Search for bookmark*.json. They are exported automatically and ready for import.
Do I understand correctly that you don't include these bookmarks in your regular backup? Consider doing that.

I've been a long time user of both. Recently, I updated WinPatrol (free version)and everthing was just fine. Yesterday, when I went to open Firefox, nothing happened. I instead got the message that access was denied by WinPatrol. Since I still wanted to use Firefox, I uninstalled WinPatrol, thinking that would take care of things. WRONG! Firefox still wouldn't open. I right clicked the icon and there was a menu item concerning WinPatrolPLUS info. It informed me that access was still denied. I'm willing to uninstall Firefox if I have to, though I'd rather not lose all my bookmarks. Where do I go from here?
