WinME with Webshots..taskbar problem

Mar 3, 2004 2:22AM PST

Hi, using WinMe IBM Net Vista 2276 Pent 3. I enjoy using the software Webshots but it creates a problem. Lexplore has caused an error on GDI.exe when using Webshots. Also the taskbar at the bottom of my screen has Enlarged. Can anyone give me suggestions how to correct this problem without deleting the software Webshots? Thank you.

Hi Thank you for your reply BOB. Ran my updated AVG.6.0 and found nothing. I tried to remove the value and found nothing there. I have AVG. Spybot Search and Ad-aware. When using Webshots this error message appears. (screen sometimes freezes) when downloading lots of pictures. I delete temp. files at this time and then continue. The bottom of my screen still shows large icons..any suggestions..thank you.

It's not part of Windows or Webshots.

As to the large icons, it's something that I can no longer experiment with since Windows ME is no more here. I remember it being a Control Panel, Display issue. So go look around.

In closing, relying on just ONE virus scanner is likely to not find all bugs.

Since I supplied the link about the bug, what more could I offer?

Bob
