winhttp.dll was not found error. HELP!

I have a notebook that I had to reinstall everything from Windows XP down. Everything is working properly now except when I close Outlook. It doesn't happen everytime, but I continue to get an error message saying that winhttp.dll was not found. I have to click out of it a couple of times before it goes away. Can anyone help me with this?

Have you tried running scannow?

Supposedly it fixes any missing or corrupt windows files, click start>run and type this or copy and paste into the box sfc /scannow Good luck.

OOPS

"sfc /scannow" without the quotes. If you type it be sure to leave a space between sfc and the slash or you'll get an error message.

I did some looking around

I found that file at DllDump.com. Maybe that will fix you up, good luck.
