Wine for Mac Programs?

May 3, 2007 11:00AM PDT

Everybody knows about WINE, which lets you run Windows programs on your Linux box, but is there something similar that would enable you to run OS X applications under Linux?

Thanks

You are on Apple hardware. Today, this is non-negotiable. The copyright holder of the Apple OS has been very clear about this.

Not the OS...

I don't mean running the OS, but rather the use of something like WINE (reimplementation of the API). To the best of my knowledge, it is totally legal to create a compatible system.

I'm sure Microsoft is not happy about WINE, but there has not been any issues there.

There is no such effort worthy of mentioning.
