I have the program but was not installed; I finally installed it to see what you were after. I personally have the "windvdcreator plus".
I have not used the "author" and not sure how it work, but you can get what you are after using "edit" instead of author. You can very easily remove the title by editing it out.
To get a frame for the video, you can do a still capture of what you like on the video file (and maybe save it to your image libruary..I am not sure).
Anymore questions, post back, and I will see if I can do anyting to help. But hope you have already found the solutions.
I just bought a ConvertX and in came bundled with WinDVD software. In WinDVD Creator under the "author"
button is the "select frame for thumbnail button". Now here is my question. When viewing the menu on the dvd the frame are black. How do I put a picture from the corresponding movie segment? Also, it puts frames representing the title effects that I put in before each movie segment. How do I delete this off of there. I know that this a lot of information, but I would appreciate any help.
