WindowsXP > AVG 2014

Mar 20, 2014 2:02AM PDT

Good Morning, I need to know if AVG 2014 will secure Windows XP for a while or not. I'd like not to change into WS 7, 8, 8.1...and keep XP for some time.
Thanks for some advice.
Best.
Michael, Brussels.

No. Whether or not AVG will continue to be supported on XP is really beside the point, since the smart criminals have been sitting on OS level exploits for XP for some time now, running out the clock for when MS completely washes its hands of XP for good. When that day comes, it will be open season on XP users whether or not they are running AVG or any other AV program and those people will only have themselves to blame.
