Someone installed XP and didn't look for a motherboard driver package.

Sound familiar?

Or someone accepted a driver from Windows Update.

In short.

1. Install motherboard drivers.
2. Don't get drivers from Windows Update.

I'd comment more but nothing was shared about the host machine.

In closing if a drive letter is supposed to appear other issues have been.

3. The drive letter is hidden. Use TWEAKUI to unhide.
4. The USB port is USB 1.1. Use USB 2.0.
