Windows XP Startup Problem

by SmoothTofu / February 27, 2007 4:49 AM PST

Recently, I started getting this weird barcode-like screen just before the screen that shows the Windows XP logo and loading bar. This never happened before, as it skipped from a brief black screen straight to the screen with the Windows XP logo. Is there any way I can remove this?

This is what it looks like:

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how I can get rid of this screen!

It's a normal thing to see.

Nothing to fix, maybe someone will name it someday other than "the barcode thing."

But I'm wondering why this only started happening now...?

Causes could be...

Windows updates, video or other driver taking a bit longer to load, initialize. Not something to fix.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
