Windows XP SP2 Problems

Ok so i just reinstalled windows and now i have no sound and i also cannot connect to the internet because im guessing these two devices were uninstalled. So i go to the device manager to install them but i cant because i cant connect to the internet....Any suggestions on what to do????

I had this problem before and this what i did.
First, make sure you don't have a second cd for the install. Some companies like Dell (in my case) have a second reinstall disc that has some of the drivers to complete the install, and of course it didn't prompt me for the second disc.
Second, try booting up in safe mode and connecting to the internet. you might get lucky and windows has a generic driver for the network card. if so just download the drivers from the companies website.
Third, the "no brainer" use another pc and download the drivers you need and burn it to a cd or use a floppy.

You need the drivers for the sound card.

Also, if the network card is integrated with the motherboard you need all the motherboard drivers. If it is separate, you need the drivers for that card.
