Windows XP SP2

Since I downloaded this update, my computer is very slow, especially on the internet going from one site to another or going back and forward. Should I uninstall it by going to a restore date before it? I am not too great at things like this. I also updated to Microsoft Office 2003 edition. I had Windows XP Microsoft Office on this computer before that. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Did you do anything odd like disable a firewall or antivirus during that download or install?

You may need to find that pest now. The usual tools are Adaware, Spybot, Stinger, Cwshredder and Housecall.

I did have them active, and yesterday, I did spybot and ad aware and AVG anti virus and all three found nothing wrong. I must today, the computer is much faster than yesterday was. Thanks for your help.
