Windows XP SP2

I have been updating my version of Windows XP regulary since receiving it. The Microsoft Windows update shows that I don't have any critical updates to install. Does that include Windows XP SP@?

I do not believe Windows XP SP2 shows up as yet on the Windows Update site. You can obtain it via automatic updates being turned on or by downloading the full version designed for IT professionals (which works on all computers - ok to download if you have broadband).

For the past several days when clicking on Windows Update it has been suggesting to click on Auto Update to receive SP-2. I did not want Auto Update for MS to put all updates on my computer, preferring to install them manually.

Well as of now (as promised for the 25th August) the Windows Update shows that I can download the SP-2. However on my Dial-up it will take 4 hours and 22 minutes.

Since my ISP would probably cut me off more than once for that length of time without reconnecting, I ordered the CD which also had the ordering capability released today.
