windows xp shrink all windows

is there a way to shrink all the windows at once like in windows 2000?

Do you meant "Minimize" all screens?

If yes, the easiest way is "Windows Logo" button + M will do it.

do you mean show desktop

if so, if you have activated the "quick launch" toolbar the "show desktop" icon should be added by default
