Re: can't boot MAC OS

It might really help if you told us:
a) exactly and rather detailed how you installed XP
b) what exactly happens if you try to boot the MAC OS
to begin with.

what model mac? Should we assume this is an macbook/macbook pro?

What OS are you using?

Does XP run or does it not boot either?

Did you use Bootcamp? Did you partition the drive before installing xp?

we need stuff like that... otherwise, all we can do is guess.

Hmph... Either he fixed it and left us wondering here,

or he forgot he posted here. I doubt that, since when people have computer problems they tend to really want to fix them fast. Well I would. Did you try messing with the Boot Camp Beta even though Leopard's out? Like everyone else has said, we need info to assist you.

Not going to help anyone if there's nothing to work with and ponder.

Try This

obviously you installed it using BootCamp and you set the startup disk to WinXP instead of MacOS.

When you first start the computer hold down the Option (ALT) key while the screen is still displaying the Apple logo. That should give you a choice of what drive to boot with.
