You would need two harddrives or two partitions in one harddrive.
I have a Dell Dimensions 4700. Can I install and run both WindowsXP Home and WindowsXP Pro on the same computer?

With XP a parallel install of both Home and Pro on the same partition is possible. Here's an example on how to do this.

The supplied link tells enough and this is not your discussion.

Yes, you can install both home and pro in the same PC, and also, Win98, 3.1, Win2k, DOS, Linux and other x86 OS, and it can be in the same hdd.
There are several methods to achieve that but if you want to save yourself sometime, get yourself a copy of BootITNG (http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/bootitng.html)
It will partition your hdd and will help you multi booting the different hdd's.
There are free boot managers also, but none of them (that I know) will partition the hdd. If you have another utility to partition the hdd (or if you want to multi boot from different hdd) then get yourself GAG 4.5d (http://gag.sourceforge.net/)
hope this helps. If not, just post again.
