Question

windows xp icons will not 'allign to grid', please help

Jun 10, 2011 12:28PM PDT

ive had the same windows xp for YEARS now, but after a few years my computer was soooo full of excess junk and registry errors, etc i had the hard drive backed up, and wiped clean and reinstalled windows from scratch. ever since, however, my desktop icons wont seem to allign to grid pattern as they usually do. i have 'allign to grid' checked, ive unchecked it, rebooted, re-checked the box, rebooted, still nothing. i have them SOMEWHAT alligned by eye, but its rather annoying that they arent automatically doing it.

would anyone have any recommendations on how to make them re-auto allign? please and thank you.
