Question

Windows xp formatting stopped

I went to go reformat my computer and now the disk couldnt install a file so the formatting has stopped and i cant use the computer. How do i restart this process?

Why not start from scratch? That is, with good disk erase programs like DBAN (I no longer warn folk this erases all attached drives) you can blank out the drive and start as if it was new.

If XP won't install and did before this is a sign of failed or changed hardware.
