Windows XP Fonts Screen

I have noticed with Windows XP Professional
the Windows XP Fonts file doesn't show
the number of Fonts you have, as did with
Windows XP Home Edition ?

I have set a Desktop Font folder and
that also doesn't say how many Fonts
are in the font folder?

Is there a reason for this?
And is it possible to Edit
in order to indicate the
number of Fonts we have
there ?

Thank you so much.
Regards

Open Explorer and go to the Windows folder. Right click the Fonts folder and click properties. How many files are there?

Thank you for your reply.

Since my IE 7 doesn't work, I am
using Firefox-Mozilla.

I did check in the Start menu
and also in Program files and
I don't see Explorer ?

Is there another way/method
of correcting this dilemna
regarding - Number of Fonts
are not being counted in
the Windows XP Prof Font
File folder ?

Thank you.

Not 'Internet' Explorer....'Windows' Explorer...

RIGHT click on the Start button, choose "Explore". That will open Windows Explorer from which you can follow the previous instructions.

And if you're IE7 doesn't work and you've got XP, simply uninstall it from the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs section.. It's listed as "Windows Internet Explorer". Uninstalling IE7 will cause it to revert back to IE6.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
