Windows XP "Debug" request

Feb 12, 2004 5:19AM PST

I recently bought a new PC with Windows XP Home edition on it. When I'm surfing the internet and accessing various webpages I am getting a recurring message asking me if I to "Debug" something. What's going on?

Don't let it bug you.

Start Internet Explorer.
On the TOOLS menu, click "Internet Options"
Click on the "Advanced" tab
In the "Browsing" Section, click in the box beside "Disable script debugging"
* The "Disable script debugging" box should now be CHECKED
In the "Browsing" section, click on the box beside "Display a notification about every script error"
* The "Display a notification about every script error" box should now be UNCHECKED
Click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the dialogue box
Click on "OK"
