The machine that had that capability was setup in a particular way with fonts and more. If one forgets this then on any other machine including a Windows 98 machine the problem happens.
Go back and check how you setup the 98 box.

Hi, everbody,
I have a Visual Foxpro 6 program that prints Chinese characters (double byte characters) mixed with English Characters. It works fine in Windows 98. But when I migrate to Windows XP Chinese Version, most of the Chinese Characters are missing. Say for a series of 3 Chinese characters, only the first one shown up, but the rest are missed.
The printout shows up fine under print preview (all Chinese character shows up). The problem appears for a Epson dot matrix printer, as well as a HP ink jet printer, so I guess it is something to do with Windows XP setting on Double Byte Character Printing.
Can anyone shed me some light on what should I check on? Thanks.
