Windows XP and Windows 98 SE Messenger Audio Conn.

Nov 28, 2004 11:23AM PST

When attempting an audio conversation in MSN Messenger 6.2 with a friend who is running Win98se, she hears me clearly, but I receive fractured speech from her end. However, all runs well if I use my other networked pc, which runs Win98se. I gather there is an issue in communication between these two OS's? Any comments, or a fix, please?
