hi yasino
i'm in your team for solving such a problem.

its happened with me many a times. but its not happening now.
which yr edition of norton program(s) r u using. the programs r REAL buggy. if its 2003 or 04 antivirus or internet security u should uninstall it and try re-installing but before doing any reinstallation u should also weigh the possiblity of buying a latest edition.
if ur already using 2005 edition u should simply re-install the internet security or the system works or antivirus at TYPICAL or MINIMUM use minimum if available.
just to make it clear, ccApp refers to the core norton antivirus software program. it cant be shut simply using the task manager in win xp. on top any other app thats in BOLD or has a "cc" prefix can't be shut down using taskmanager. also "cc" refers to the programs by symantec thats systemworks apps or internet security apps or simply the antivirus apps.

still just reply a bit detail about ur antivirus before u re-install the antivirus.

such a waste of shear power such buggy programs make.
your system specs r really good to run any program and don't let such bugs spoil them

Ok yasino
did u have the problem before you installed internet security 2006? as a matter of fact, this same problem has resurfaced yesterday in my computer too. don't straight away re-install it.
the 2003 and 2004 editions were well known for the trouble. in 06 edition may be they've solved the trouble. can u describe the shut down in a better way --i mean does ccApp ending now appear everytime u shut it down and ya if u straight away click end now what happens and ya also do u see the windows shutting down screen and during all this time is the hdd light working at all?
if ccApp is repeatedly showing up--doing the trouble then uninstall is the way to go. we should then re-access the situation after the uninstall, before the re-install.

And yaa when u r off the internet security services u should unplug ur inter cable or keep it disconnected all the time if its dial-up.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
