The Windows EULA limits you to a single installation on a single computer, so unlike with Microsoft Office you cannot install it on both your desktop and laptop. The good news is that you can receive a discount when purchasing additional licenses, which, while small, is better than nothing.

I have a Desktop with 64 bit proc. running XP home and a laptop with 32 bit proc. running Windows Media Centre.
The desktop does not have a TV card but the laptop does.
Do I need to purchase two Vista upgrades?
