Most of today's machines have us create our own or order them.
http://www.google.com/search?&q=Acer+factory+restore+eRecovery finds the usual advice about ERECOVERY. If I had the mouse I could find ERECOVERY and make the restore media.
My daughter is running windows vista on an Acer desktop. Every time she uses the keyboard the computer shuts down. I tried doing a system restore and it didnt work. I cant get into the boot menu because pressing any of the "F" keys causes the computer to shutdown as soon as it finishes booting up. We can use the mouse without any problems.
Should we try to do a system recovery? This computer was given to her by a relative and we dont have the original discs if there were any. How can we do a full recovery without the original discs?
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it?
