windows vista home premium x64

by zogger2 / June 18, 2015 9:22 AM PDT

I have lost my factory install disks for windows vista home premium x64 and my system has crashed. Does anyone have a copy of the sony windows vista home premium x64 install disks so i can put my system back to the factory settings? My system is toast until i can get the disks and Sony says they do not carry them any longer. I have the ID key already, just not the disks.

Until then, use "read only" OS

If you don't run the install, you can boot to it from DVD and use it till you find the sony disc. Just remember it's read only so do any saves to a folder on the hard drive. I suggest the MATE desktop version.

use 64 bit, version 17.01

burn the ISO to a DVD and then boot to it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
