There's your clue ->sound keeps replaying over n over sound

"sound keeps replaying over n over"

This is your classic driver issue. Since it's new, in warranty have HP work with you to find HP's latest drivers and if it still fails, ask for your money back.

Drivers

I had that problem before. Since you have an HP go on their website and search for a driver download (I have before since I too own an HP).
Upgrade all of your drivers to make sure everything is up to date. Maybe one of your drivers right now have a small glitch in them.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
