Which browser do you use?

There is an Adobe icon on top of AOL, Desktop Mechanic, Internet Explorer and other things. When I try to access the Internet it tries to start up and it says it cannot exc. the file for thant and other things. I have windows vista 32, mozillaa firefox as current browser, Internet explorer, AOL,Skype and Cowan media Center. The cowan media center now has an adobe icon on it too. I am new to this and have only had a computer for three months and I don't know what to do!!

Did Adobe Reader 8 cone reinstalled or did you install it.If you installed it was from the original site,Download Adobe Reader or some third party site?

I don't know what else to tell you.I would remove it and do a fresh install from the link I provided above and make sure it not scattered all over.

After removing Adobe Reader 8 and before reinstalling I would run CCLEANER

ccleaner comes in three versions,I use the slim version. After Adobe Reader 8 is removed use the issues button then use the cleaner button, reboot install Adobe Reader 8 making sure its in one location, mine is on my desktop.
