I am an architecture student. I just wanted to know which laptop would be better for me- windows or Mac?
Requirements-
1. Should be an i7 processor
2. Revit/autoCAD/grasshopper/SketchUp/Photoshop etc. should run
3. Clocking speed should be 3.5ghz

1. They have that.

2. If said apps are on there, another yes.
3. WHY WOULD YOU ASK FOR THAT?

Long ago advances in the CPUs meant faster operation at lower clock speeds. I think you need to either ignore that or catch up on processor technologies.

I'd ask the university what they recommend. The 'etc.' might be a program they expect you to use that only runs on one of the two.

And the course support documents might be written with one of the two in the mind of the author, if the programs behave somewhat differently.

And, most important maybe, what is used on the computers meant for use by students on the university. It's easier if that's the same.
