Windows Update Help Please

I started my wives computer up and went to Windows update. After downloading their update I could no longer get into the updates. ?The message said, This web page has encountered a problem?. I rebooted and got the same message.

She is running Windows Home XP and I bought the computer new from Gateway. Windows update has always worked until now.

Please help with advice

Thanks I got it fixed. I had to download the ?Get Microsoft Update Today? I really didn?t want Office included, but as long as I have it working I'm satified.
