fix for Windows Update error message # 0x800B0109

1. Go to Start
2. Select Run..
3. Type the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll dssenh.dll rsaenh.dll gpkcsp.dll sccbase.dll slbcsp.dll cryptdlg.dll

then hit OK and you should get a succeeded window for each dll (some take longer than others but you will get a windows for each dll so be patient, it might take a minute or two depending on your machine).
Windows Update works immediately afterwards. Many thanks to brentrice1 on www.talkaboutsoftware.com for this solution.

Thanks.
This worked first time.

Hi there.
I don't know where you came up with that solution, but Microsoft don't even know about it.
Perhaps you should be their leading consultant in Tech Supp.
Thankyou sooo much.
