Windows update and loss of connection

If I try to download and install any of the the following updates for Vista I lose my wireless connection. Uninstall them connection OK.
Neither Airlink nor HP techs can help.
Any thoughts?

After uninstall be sure to reset the Winsock as documented at

Let me be clear that recent updates have me uninstalling 3rd party firewalls, performing (but never checking for corruption) the winsock. After a few hundred of these I think its best we get this one done fast.

Your choice.

No but I will uninstall and try with what I assume you to mean the windows firewall, correct?
