windows security center system warning

I have tried all that i have against what i believe to be a virus/spyware/malware but is still unable to remove this little pest or is it a pest. so i come to you guys.This error message keep poping up on my son's computer :"windows security center system warning, alert details C:Program files\Symnt\Ssmgr.exe" Threat: 007Spy.
It then gave me an option which leads me to a website selling Antspy Ware. Ithouht it would be legit since it is windows giving me the warning. I already have AVG 8.0, A-Square, Ad-aware and spybot of which i run routinely yet none seem to find what windows is warning me about.
So i am crying help
System info: xp-pro, 256mb, Gateway model ATXSTF E3600

I hope you didn't download/purchase this software.

Windows will never suggest you download/purchase any specific so-called anti-spyware program, and that window is likely a fraud.

Things to try;

1] Does your son only use Internet Explorer to surf the internet? If so, download and install another, non-IE based browser like Opera, SeaMonkey or Firefox.

2] Look up BHO in Google. Browser Helper Objects are add-ons for Internet Explorer but they are not controlled or approved by anyone and they can be the cause of many problems with IE. Look for guidance how to remove these.

3] Download, install, and run SmitFraudFix from; http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

Guidance on what it does and how to use it here; http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php

I have never used this before so I would recommend you ask in our Spyware, viruses and security forum if you have any questions;

I hope that helps.
