Question

Windows phones and pop up blocker

Oct 22, 2015 7:57AM PDT

I have been trying to find out of windows is ever going to release the pop up blocker on internet as I need my phone to work and like it but you can't because of this issue. I know Android is the answer but I am one of those that happen to like my windows phone overall and really can't afford buying another phone.

Answer
WP is a bit of a tough area for developers. Why?

MSFT has a rather Draconian view of the system and with the upcoming WP10 release authors are not as plentiful for this phone. There's more I could write but MSFT is not helping by making it tough to get to market plus the pricing issues.

If you're a developer you hit Apple then Android first.

Thanks for the input. You think it would be simple If the phone is internet access you should be able to use it.

On second thought maybe other browsers would do.
