Windows Phone - Whatsapp issue

I have had a problem with hotspot and made a soft reset. My phone is Lumia 430 running Windows 8.1.
After the reset I tried to login in Whatsapp, but the date was wrong and I got a message to change it. After I changed it, I got a message that I must update whatsapp. I updated.

However, when I try to run it again, it still showed me that I need to update. Now I'm in the loop. The date is correct, I have the latest version of Whatsapp, but I still get a message that I must update. That message doesn't allow me to enter into Whatsapp. Otherwise I would just backup the chat history and re-install it.

What do you mean?

I don't understand your first sentence.
My issue exactly as outlined here:

And as this review on whatsapp:

Platform: Mobile
I'm sorry but I'm giving this review because I think you check all the reviews(at least the worst ones Silly). So here's the thing, WhatsApp stopped working all of a sudden, it was WhatsApp's problem my wifi was working fine(I used the browser). Then, I restarted my phone and then it asked me to update the app and that I'm using an older version. I updated WhatsApp instantly, but still, it's saying that I'm using an old version of WhatsApp. Please help, thanks!

What dont' you understand?

Windows, on all platforms has suffered an issue on updates for years.

So the OLD ADVICE STILL STANDS. Uninstall the app, install the new version.

If this doesn't work, then you have to get to the developer. This is NOT OPEN SOURCE so no one but the developer can fix this.
