My name is max and i would like to know how i can get a word out to developers about my ideas on this new OS.
Personally i am really excited to try it out as i will be a buyer when the devices are available to consumers, however as a consumer i am important. here are some ideas for the developers of this new Windows Mobile OS.
1.Double tap the search button for fast searching within the phone, or simply press and hold to search content within the phone.
2.Allow full customization of the phone such as , changing the back wallpaper to an image of your liking or perhaps make the back wallpaper live and move dynamically, or perhaps include Zune art as defaults to changing the background wallpaper in the start screen and in the app tray, This my friends will allow for competition in the phone market.
3.Include "Lists" of things that include apps such as useful utilities like the calculator , the alarm clock and such, this will remove extra unneeded apps and make room for more apps , but will allow the users to reach them as needed.
4. Support for most mail clients, this has been a wide problem because in todays world everybody wants everything to work quite nicely with everything else they've got such as other email clients like yahoo, aol, hotmail, and even gmail, this will amplify the market and not make the user stick with outlook only.
5.One mistake that Apple and Android developers did was the inability to run most applications in landscape mode, please make sure that ALL Applications can have the option of running in landscape mode, as well as having the option to use the keyboard in landscape mode across the whole OS, this is including the start screen and the app tray as well.
6.Finally i am really excited to talk about this new Operating System, and an easy way that Microsoft developers can flunk would be by not having enough Applications, in today's world, the user wants to do more, and more and the demand for apps is here.Work with third party developers, work hard! get more games than the leading market, make apps cheaper, do something to gain market share once more but most important of all, do NOT ever disappoint the Consumer, specially nowadays.
Well thank you for your prompt attention and thank you for your concern , i would hope to hear from everyone else soon.
