Windows OneCare Aftermath

Dec 18, 2005 9:35AM PST

I am running windows xp sp2 , lately i installed windows onecare beta to test it , and then tried to remove it , it told me there was an error trying to uninstall so i closed the service and deleted the folder in the program files , and then when i tried to run one of my p2p programs and my paltalk , they didn't connect , so i assumed that this is a firewall issue , when i tried to access my firewall settings in the control panel , they were all greyed out , So i can't enable or disable my firewall offcourse due to the conflict with windows onecare's firewall , please help me with a solution that brings my applications to life without Reinstalling Windows .

Thanx In Advance

not really even a public beta yet. You were provided with a couple of URLs to the beta forums as well as the means for reporting any problems you encounter when Microsoft accepted your request to enter the program.

You need to start fulfilling your end of the contract for beta testing acceptance.

In addition to getting the assistance you personally need you may well provide the key info that helps head off problems when the beta becomes a release candidate or goes gold.
