That is, are any files from downloads that you didn't make at home?
I have just got a new laptop running Windows Vista. I tried to use Movie Maker but although it starts up and allows me to import/edit etc when I get to publishing the movie it just crashes and I get the error message that its stopped working and the option to close the program.
I've looked at some support site (Microsoft included) and the only recommendation for this problem is to disable particular codecs. I've done that with Ffdshow and DirectShow, both of which were listed as possible causes of this, but I'm still getting the same problem.
The details of the error, if it helps, are :-

Does this mean anything to anyone? Any help/advice hugely appreciated as I use this programme a lot on my home PC and would like to be able to do the same on my new laptop.
