Windows memory Error

Hi, when I try to reed a old file of Publisher 97 in Publisher 2003, I have a Error " Windows low of memory, close, etc etc ".
I have a new computer P4, 2.23 Mgz
Disk 40 G
Virtual memory control by Windows...
Can you helpme about that?
