You haven't said why your computer was a mess before you reinstalled Windows, but what do you use t protect yourself from hackers, viruses and spyware?
Right now I've got Windows Media Player 10 open. I'm not playing any music or watching a movie, but when I check the taskmanager, it says its using 95-98% of my CPU. This has happenned every since I reinstalled windows. I'm sure it has something to do with the new setup, Windows media player worked perfectly before, even though my computer was a mess at the time. Does anyone now why it would be using so much RAM?? (I've tried deleting it and reinstalling it, but the problem remained).
