Windows media player / Real player

by RUNNINRIVERS / April 6, 2004 3:50 PM PDT

Recently updated my real player through the download process but I'm not very impressed.
How can I get my Windows media player back as my default player.
Thanks, Ken.

I don't use Real Player so I can't tell you much about that. As to WMP or Windows media player, the web site http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html wrote about an uninstall and go back to other versions...

1. Uninstall Real Player, or not, but do step two. Be advised that you'll need RP for RP file types.

2. Open WMP. Click Tools, Options. Click the File Types tab. Put a check mark in the file types for WMP to be the default player.
