Windows Media Player Problem

Sep 21, 2007 2:47PM PDT

I have a Dell XPS 410 with Windows Vista, and I'm experiencing an annoying problem with Windows Media Player (latest version). Under my account (the administrator), I can't assign any streaming proxy settings, yet the non-administrator accounts have settings assigned. This means that when I want to play streaming music from my Yahoo Jukebox, I have to go on one of the other accounts in order to hear the music. Someone suggested trying to reinstall Windows Media Player, but I read that the latest version (11, I believe) is somehow intertwined into the Windows Vista system. Any ideas?
