I'm betting that video is corrupted and every time you tell WMP to go to the location, (folder), where that video is, WMP freezes.
It's a common problem when Explorer comes across a corrupted file and stops responding or crashes. Since Explorer is at the heart of many Windows' processes this might be why WMP fails as well.
Try deleting that video, and testing.

I've looked everywhere for someone that's had the same issue as me but haven't found anyone. I have been using windows media player happily on my computer for well over a year now.
