What do you mean with "don't work"?

And can you explain what you mean with downloading divx, why you think it would help and why you prefer not to do it.

As a work-around I suggest you change the settings of the monitor, either physically (buttons on the monitor) or in the driver. But I think it should work in WMP also.

right now, I can't change the video settings for brightness, contrast, hue, saturation in windows media player. i could change them after I install divx, but divx cause problems with some of my videos. I think I need to install some plug-ins in order to make it work? All of those links are good, but none of them works for me, because one of them just tell me where to change the settings in media player and one is a link for a system fixer which i had before but don't work and the other one is to change option in media player but still don't work. Please help me, thank you
