Windows Media Player

Feb 8, 2004 7:50AM PST

I am running win98se on a broadband connection. Lately, when I boot from power off windows media player
(9x) starts and tries to play. I get an error saying
that it cannot play the current request. There are
many items in this list and they all start with OxCOOD
I have searched all through my computer looking for
something that triggers this. No luck.

Let me be blunt. You kept the best clue to the issue to yourself. The error codes may have been useful.

For now, I will write that http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html contains a nice collection of knowledge about WMP.
